Looking for Writers, Photographers, Editors, and Wordpress Officianado
We’re looking for new writers and photographers, and editors to work for us at With An Accent, and are taking applications. If you’re interested please contact us using the contact form on this page.
We’re looking for anything and everything really. We cover five topics: tv, film, music, books, and theatre. So if you want to cover the latest event in your area, write a recap of a tv show, review the latest album from a new band, or recommend a book, go ahead and give us a shout.
We are centered in the US and UK and cover genre and foreign media, but I will use the tags to focus in on some topics we cover, and others that we’re definitely looking for writers on as soon as possible. Please note: We are especially interested in anyone who would like to do daily news pieces. Quick posts about news stories on the web, that should take about 15 min max to write. Though of course any and all applicants are welcome.
Compensation may include entrance to some events as press, and payment on par with other similar websites, as well as tax write offs for anything and everything that can be related to the site (be it a Netflix subscription, trip to Comic Con, you name it really).
We’re also looking to hire a manager for our site. Someone who is knowledgeable with both Wordpress and Site design, and who can take on tasks such as updating plugins, design changes, solving site issues as they arise, etc.
